This week's HighLevel updates, explained for mortgage professionals. We cut through the noise and tell you what actually matters for your business, what you can ignore, and what to set up right now.
If you've ever felt like your workflow logic was held together with duct tape, this one's for you.
This week's HighLevel update finally fixes the root problem with Opportunity-based automations. That alone makes it a big win. But it doesn't stop there. You're also getting smarter Smart Lists, editable social queues, and a clean way to track page analytics from external sites.
Whether you're running an agency or managing leads solo, these are the kinds of updates that remove friction and give you more control over how your HighLevel system runs day to day.
Let's break it down.

You can now trigger workflows based on specific field changes inside Opportunities. That includes both standard and custom fields like Appraisal Status, CD Sent, or Rate Locked.
Previously, you had to build logic chains with tags, extra workflows, or code just to send a simple update to a borrower. This feature replaces all of that with one clean trigger.
You can even choose which value change should trigger the action. For example:
Appraisal Status changes to "Ordered" → Send borrower update
Closing Date gets updated → Notify processor
Lets you automate status updates at any point in the loan
Replaces multiple workflows with one clean trigger
Supports custom pipelines like appraisal or title tracking
Start by auditing your milestone workflows. Anywhere you had to "watch for a tag," replace that logic with this new trigger type.
HighLevel and the carriers have stopped charging the $15 A2P campaign resubmission fee.
If your campaign got rejected and needed changes, those fees added up fast. Especially for agencies setting up multiple subaccounts. That's no longer a concern.
Saves $15 per resubmission
No more hidden setup costs
Encourages faster and cleaner compliance fixes

The AI Builder now handles wait steps more reliably. You can ask it to pause for a specific amount of time or wait until a contact replies, without the step breaking or misfiring.
It's still not great with complex logic, but it's definitely improving.
Makes AI-generated workflows more usable
Reduces manual cleanup after using AI Builder

The Analytics dashboard now shows:
Average time on site
Percentage of visitors who leave before 30 seconds
You can view this data by day or across a custom date range.
Helps gauge content engagement
Useful for testing landing pages or lead magnets

You can now track pageviews and engagement metrics from third-party websites like WordPress, Jotform, or Gravity Forms using HighLevel's external tracking script.
If you add the script to those pages, you'll be able to:
See time on site
Track form submissions
Monitor page-level performance inside your HighLevel dashboard
No need to rely on Google Analytics
Brings third-party site data into your central CRM

Several improvements to the Contacts and Smart List view just rolled out:
Click to call directly from phone number fields
Rearrange columns freely
Open multiple contact records in new tabs
This is a full redesign of the contact table that makes day-to-day prospecting much faster.
Saves time on calls
Streamlines follow-up workflows
Better visibility into pipeline at a glance

The Conversations inbox now displays an unread message count. It's part of a broader UI revamp and it's still in Labs for now. But it's coming soon to all accounts.
This new UI consolidates internal chat, shared inboxes, and SMS threads into one streamlined view.
Better awareness of messages that need attention
Helps teams manage follow-up more proactively

You can now edit your category queues in the Social Planner. This includes:
Post captions
Posting times
Frequency settings
Before, you had to delete and rebuild the queue to make changes. Now you can just edit and keep moving.
Saves time if you batch content
Helpful for teams using VAs or rotating campaigns

You can now create Instagram Stories inside HighLevel and send them to a mobile device via push notification. The story content and caption are preloaded in the notification, and you can also add posting instructions.
This opens the door for personal Facebook publishing down the line.
Makes it easier for LOs to post branded stories
Adds accountability for daily content execution
Ideal for agencies managing content for multiple LOs
This week's updates clean up core workflows, eliminate platform pain points, and give you better tools for follow-up, compliance, and content publishing.
Here's the impact in plain terms:
Faster automation from field-based triggers
Smarter communication through inbox and call updates
Cleaner tracking across sites you already use
Better content execution with editable queues and story tools
Less wasted money with free A2P resubmissions
