HighLevel for Mortgage Pros exists because no one was building the systems loan officers actually needed. So we did it ourselves.

The Beginning

From Loan Officer to
HighLevel Expert

In 2015, Michael McAllister was a loan officer trying to figure out how to get more loans without spending every waking hour cold-calling. He built a lead generation system using Google Ads, SMS automation, and email follow-up. And it worked.

By 2018, other LOs started asking how he did it. So he started helping them build the same systems. That became Empower LO, a company dedicated to helping mortgage professionals use technology to grow their business.

When GoHighLevel came along, it changed everything. Finally, one platform could handle CRM, funnels, email, SMS, automation, calendars, and more. But there was a problem: HighLevel wasn't built for mortgage.

The templates were for dentists and gym owners. The tutorials assumed you were selling info products. The workflows didn't know what a pre-approval was, let alone a past-client nurture sequence.

So Michael and the Empower LO team started building mortgage-specific systems inside HighLevel. Snapshots. Workflows. Funnels. Training. Everything a loan officer needed to actually use HighLevel effectively.
